About Me

In my late 20's, depression entered my life causing me to spiral into despair and the fear of never feeling "ok" again. I had a health professional who believed in my capacity to heal.  Through her belief, I grew my own belief and started to recognize that I was not my depression, instead depression was a visitor whom I did not need to struggle with.   During the depression I began to search for ways to reconnect with my wholeness, this is when yoga and an important book called ‘A New Earth’ by Eckhart Tolle entered my life.  This was the beginning of my journey back to wellness and entering into the work I do now.

What I have found is that even though challenges continue to enter my life,  I am willing to meet them and to support other people to meet their challenges. For me life isn't about avoiding the not so good bits, instead, it is about opening up to them and seeing what I can learn.  Don't get me wrong I am in no way a 'blissed out' being, I am on this roller coaster of life just like you, we all have our journeys.

The difference for me now is I don't struggle the same and I always remind myself, “this to will pass”, and laugh.  I always find something to laugh about, life doesn't always have to be filled with seriousness either!
